Deep Breathing techniques

 

9 out of 10 of us are chest breathers. We only use the top 1/3rd of our lung capacity. Breathing exercises can double or even triple our lung capacity.

 

Some of us carry scar tissue in the lungs mostly in the top portion of the lungs caused by smoking, asthma and/or pollution. It is very important that we learn how to breathe into the lower lungs so that oxygen can fill and heal the lungs. By doing these exercises you will heal the lungs and increase your lung and oxygen capacity. As our oxygen intake increases our metabolic rate increases, digestion and all of our bodily functions will benefit. We burn fat and detox better as well.
