The History of Hopi Ear Candles
Ear candles are an ancient and natural therapy handed down by many civilisations and used as far a field as Asia, the Siberian prairies and most notably Native America. It is from this part of the world that the oldest tribe of Pueblo people, with their great medicinal knowledge and spirituality give their name to the candles we call Hopi.
Ear candles were used traditionally by Shamen healers. It is believed that the Ancient Greeks also used ear candles, initially probably for cleansing, purifying and healing on a spiritual basis. the practice of Hopi Ear Candling reached the modern world via the native North American Hopi Indians.
